Helios’ Runner Game Helps Launch Reebok ZQuick Line images: HELIOS INTERACTIVE 

Helios Interactive has created an interactive game to help launch Reebok’s ZQuick line of shoes.

Helios Interactive collaborated with the LeadDog Marketing Group to create an interactive ‘infinite runner’ style game to help launch Reebok’s ZQuick line of training shoes, which hit the market on March 1. The sportswear giant wanted to enhance the shoe shopping experience and highlight the speed and agility that the running shoe provides, and to do it in an interactive consumer environment that reflected the urban experience.

The interactive parkour-style game created by Helios allowed shoppers to control a virtual runner, with their gestures controlling the experience of the game. Participants would jump and lean around obstacles in order to cross the greatest distance within a limited amount of time. Once the game ended, users would have their photo taken to share on social networks.

Helios Interactive was responsible for the technology integration and created the UI design, while Basenjigames did the front end development. The event ran for seven weeks, with more than 2,000 shoppers trying out the new Z line in the interactive setting.
