The Game Studio in Aalsmeer in the Netherlands, which opens today, will let children and adults enjoy themselves in a large play area using nine different interactive games that test their endurance, agility, stamina, speed, and reaction time.

The Game Studio Aalsmeer was opened today in Aalsmeer, the Netherlands. The active play studio offers people of all ages a fun, active way to spend time with their friends, and it provides a number of popular interactive games – dance games, laser games and reaction games among others – to keep children and adults engaged for hours at a time.

Several schools were the first to try out the interactive systems at the studio and the first reactions were extremely positive. Children were very enthusiastic about the games and mastered them pretty quickly.

The Game Studio Aalsmeer is the largest interactive play area in the Netherlands. Equipped with a versatile range of interactive games, the studio offers children a fun interactive experience that motivates them to stay active and keep moving.

The Game Studio is an interactive game room, an indoor playground based on traditional games which are used in a contemporary way, to make them more appealing to today's children, who are used to playing sedentary video games and know their way around technologies from an early age. The game room is an excellent choice for children's parties, but can also be used for bachelorette parties as the games appeal to users of all ages. Along with operating the Game Studio, Studios Aalsmeer facilitates events and organises them.

The interactive play studio leaves no room for inactivity. All the games require users to be physically active and keep moving. Some of the games, like the T-wall, even require a good warm-up. The Game Studio, however, does not provide guidance for the activities at the facility. The games are suitable to children aged 8 and older, who should be accompanied by an adult.

The active games available at the centre include the EyePlay Floor, an interactive floor that offers hours of entertainment and a variety of options, the EyePlay Wall, which also lets users create endless play options, and the T-wall, which tests users' response time and hand-eye coordination. Kinect & Play, another option at the studio, lets users play games on the move, using digital avatars.

The Game Studio Aalsmeer also offers nteractive laser games. Laser Jump is a lot like traditional jump rope, except players must jump over a rotating laser beam to score points. Laser Shoot lets users shoot targets with a laser gun. Mission Possible requires them to move like action heroes, avoiding lasers in order to not lose points. LaserSquash, the ultimate combination of sports and fun, lets players select different levels and has different modes for children and adults.

The Game Studio Aalsmeer is operated by Studios Aalsmeer. Along with the interactive play studio, the company also runs Studio Aalsmeer Catering, the Crown Theater, the Crown Cinema, Restaurant Eetze, Can Dance, and TV Studios Aalsmeer.
